2400 m³/day UF Mineral Water Purification Equipment (PLC+HMI) at Dahongshan Spring Beverage

1. Project Overview

Dahongshan Spring Beverage, a high-end mineral water producer, needed to upgrade its water purification system to meet expanded production and stricter water quality standards. The project adopted a 2400 m³/day (100 m³/h) UF ultrafiltration system with full-automatic PLC+HMI control.

Core objectives: Ensure 24-hour stable water supply, remove impurities (suspended solids, bacteria, etc.) while retaining natural minerals, realize intelligent automatic control, reduce costs, and achieve ≥98% annual operation rate. ‌#Anhui Xinke Water Treatment Equipment Co., Ltd.

2. Raw Water Quality & Process Design

Raw water from Dahongshan deep spring is high-quality, with excessive turbidity (3.2-5.8 NTU), suspended solids (8.5-12.3 mg/L), and bacteria (35-68 CFU/mL). The core process: Raw Water Collection → Raw Water Tank → Quartz Sand Filtration → Activated Carbon Adsorption → Precision Filtration → UF Ultrafiltration → Sterile Water Tank → Water Supply.

Key equipment: 2 sets of 100 m³/h PVDF hollow fiber UF membrane modules (0.01μm pore size, ≥90% recovery rate), with automatic backwashing/chemical cleaning; Siemens S7-1200 PLC + 10-inch HMI for full-automatic control (real-time monitoring, fault alarm, parameter adjustment).

3. Implementation & Commissioning

Implementation stages: Site survey → Equipment delivery & installation → Pipeline/electrical wiring → System commissioning (no-load, load, water quality) → Staff training → Acceptance. The system passed acceptance with daily water production of 2450 m³ (exceeding design), effluent meeting GB 8537-2018, and stable PLC control.

4. Operation & Benefits

The system has run stably for 6 months (98.5% operation rate) with full-automatic operation, reducing operators from 8 to 2. Effluent quality is stable (turbidity 0.3-0.5 NTU, total bacteria ≤3 CFU/mL), retaining natural minerals and improving product quality.
